About

Emily and Bea

I am a fully qualified and insured Veterinary Physiotherapist, as well as being a registered member of The Institute of Registered Veterinary & Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP).

I have always been an animal lover, growing up with dogs, and looking after horses during my teenage years. Whilst at school, I undertook a number of placements at a Veterinary Practice, discovering my career path in the process.

After leaving school, I went on to Oxford Brookes University to study a BSc in Animal Therapy and Rehabilitation, graduating with an Upper Second Class Honours degree.

This then led me to enrol at the University of Nottingham to study an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy.

I currently hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy, and I am still completing my final year to reward me with an MSc.

Outside of work, I enjoy walks with my three dogs - Bo, Bali and Bea.

I am also a Level 3 qualified Canine Hydrotherapist. I have worked part-time at Woozelbears in Witney since July 2022, where I have now progressed to the role of Clinical Lead.

I have been completing my MSc whilst working as a hydrotherapist, which has enabled me to gain invaluable knowledge from real life rehabilitation cases over the duration of my education. This diverse range of cases include arthritis, elbow/hip dysplasia, neurological conditions, and cruciate ruptures.

Furthermore, I am a member of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA), a professional industry leader at the forefront of Veterinary Hydrotherapy.
